C1 Purebred Irish Draught Stallion Cappa Sarsfield

We are proud and delighted to have imported this elite, established C1 stallion to the United States and ultimately to our farm in Virginia.

Cappa Sarsfield has foxhunted, showjumped, team chased, and shown in hand. Over the last several years, he had taken up full-time duties in the breeding shed, and had a long holiday from being ridden. On a wild impulse, we responded to an ad by his lovely owner Amy Pridmore of White Lodge Stud and almost immediately had the feeling it was meant to be. We went over and saw him in person, and this wild impulse now suddenly seemed like a perfectly logical idea.

Our goal is to help support the Irish Draught gene pool here in the states. We have him in work currently, and will let him tell us what he wants to do in his next chapter. So far in the US, he has hunted in the field with Piedmont Hunt and was a gentleman. He is the cornerstone of our fledgeling stallion station, and the standard to which we will aim to achieve.
